CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 91-141 <br />BY: MAY08 BOYLE <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS F08 ONE (1) EMERGENCY <br />RESCUE VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT TO BE USED BY THE <br />NORTH OLMSTED FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Safety be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for one (1) emergency <br />rescue vehicle and equipment for the Fire Department. Said <br />equipment shall conform to the specifications now on file in the <br />office of the Director of Public Safety, and that, upon approval <br />by the Board of Control, the Mayor is also hereby authorized to <br />enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />it is immediately necessary to maintain safety for area residents <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. -~ <br />PASSED: cp-~~~~{-' ~~I ~I~~/ <br />ATTEST: <br />,. <br />Z ~ ~d,~ <br />arbara L.
