<br />CITY OF I~ OZ~~ <br />RESOLUTIONT N0. 91 - 91 <br />By; Ronald Tallon <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE ~ <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIAS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AERATION MA_Il~ <br />INlPROVII~ITS AT TFIE WASTEWATER ~tFaT~rr pZ,~r IN TEiE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTID, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has had plans and specifications prepared for <br />Aeration Main Improvements at the Wastewater Treatment Plant in the City of <br />North Olmsted and deems it appropriate for the safety and welfare of the public <br />to construct the aforesaid improvements, and <br />WFaRRFAS, this Council, having been advised of the recommendation of the <br />City Engineer is desirous of having the Director of Public Service advertise for <br />bids in accordance with the plans and specifications now in his office for the <br />purpose of Aeration Main Improvements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authoriz to advertise for the bids for Aeration Main Improvements at the <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant in the City of North Olmsted, all of which shall be <br />in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval <br />by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract <br />and execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution i.s hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to take <br />corrective actions in order to insure the health, safety ar~d welfare of the <br />residents, and further, provided that it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : ~ , ~c.o ~~ ~ / q9 <br />ATTEST: <br />F., <br />~. <br />bara L.
