<br /> <br />CITY OF NOKIIi OIMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 91-69 <br />BY: GEORGE NASHAR <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTID TO ENTER INTO AN AGREErIIIVT WITH WESTERN RESERVE <br />ENGINEERING & SURVEYING COMPANY TO PROVIDE E[~GINEERING SERVICES FOR <br />GRADING, PAVING, SEWIIt, AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEI~NTS ON TERRACE DRIVE, <br />NANCY DRIVE, LOUANN DRIVE, AND ANGELA DRIVE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council is aware of the fact that Terrace Drive, Nancy <br />Drive, Louann Drive and Angela Drive are in dire need of improvements; and <br />GIHERFA~, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the engineering <br />firm of Western Reserve Engineering & Surveying Company be hired to accomplish <br />the aforesaid project due to their expertise in this field; and <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, this Council does hereby <br />express its desire to have the Mayor enter into a contract with said firm for <br />and on behalf of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY Tf~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTID, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1: That the Mayor be <br />enter into an agreement with Western <br />for the purpose of improving Terrace <br />Angela Drive. <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to <br />Reserve Engineering & Surveying Company <br />Drive, Nancy Drive, Louann Drive, and <br />Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to proceed with construction to remedy deficiencies in Terrace <br />Drive, Nancy Drive, Louann Drive, and Angela Drive, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~~~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />L.
