CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID ORDINANCE N0. 91 - 61 BY: COUNCILMAN TALLON AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLriSTID TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH R. E. WARNER & ASSOCIATES TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR C,R.ADING, PAVING, CURBING AND DRAINAGE ON SILVERDALE ROAD, SELHiJRST ROAD AND DUANE ROAD. WHEREAS, this Council is aware of the fact that Silverdale Road, Selhurst Road and Duane Road are in dire need of improvements; and WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the engineering firm of R. E. Warner & Associates be hired to accomplish the aforesaid project due to their expertise in this field; and WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, this Council does hereby express its desire to have the Mayor enter into a Contract with said firm for and on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVID BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an Agreement with R. E. Warner & Associates for the purpose of improving Silverdale Road, Selhurst Road and Duane Road. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that is immediately necessary to proceed with the engineering to remedy the deficiencies in Silverdale Road, Selhurst Road and Duane Road ,and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
