• <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 91- 5 <br />By: Ronald Tallon <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND FIXING THE <br />COMPENSATION FOR THE COUNCILMEN AT LARGE MEMBERS <br />OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR <br />THE TERM OF OFFICE COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 1992 AND <br />ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1995 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />Whereas, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, at <br />Article IV, Section 6, requires the Council to fix the <br />compensation for all elected officials at least Thirty (30) <br />days prior to the filing date of nominating petitions for <br />terms beginning on the next succeeding 1st day of January; and <br />Whereas, the date for filing nominating petitions for <br />elected officials in the City of North Olmsted is March 8, <br />1991; and <br />Whereas, it is the desire of this Council to establish <br />the compensation for all elected officials in compliance with <br />the Charter requirements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the salary to be paid to Council At <br />Large members of the Council of the City of North Olmsted for <br />the term commencing January 1, 1992 and ending December 31, <br />1995 shall be as follows: <br />Effective January 1, 1992 through December 31, 1992 $7,200.00 <br />Effective January 1, 1993 through December 31, 1993 $7,900.00 <br />Effective January 1, 1994 through December 31, 1994 $8,600.00 <br />Effective January 1, 1995 through December 31, 1995 $9,300.00 <br />SECTION 2: That in addition to the salary specified in <br />Section 1 hereof, the City of North Olmsted shall pay <br />hospitalization coverage in an amount and to the extent that <br />such coverage is provided to administrative and bargaining <br />unit employees. <br />SECTION 3: That the compensation as specified in Section <br />1 and 2 hereof are being established only for the purpose of <br />complying with the charter requirements as outlined in Article <br />IV, Section 6, and in no way affect any of the other <br />provisions of any ordinance relating to the organizational <br />chart of either administrative of legislative officers. <br />
