CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 93-9 BY : COUNCILMAN M KAY AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATION AND COMPOSITION OF THE NON-UNIFORM, PART-TIME PERSONNEL OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND DECLARING AN EPTERGENCY. WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a complement of non-uniform, part-time personnel. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Organization Chart for the non- uniform, part-time Police Department personnel of the City of North Olmsted and the salary ranges be as follows: (a) School Guards $ 5.23 Per hour first year 6.34 Per hour after first year (b) Auxiliary Police (c) Jai1 Matron/Jailer (d) Dispatchers (e) Off-duty Electrical Maintenance 5.23 Per hour first year 6.34 Per hour after first year 5.23 Per hour first year 6.34 Per hour after first year 6.55 to $10.00 Per hour 7.80 to 10.84 Per hour SECTION Z: That the salary ranges and amounts established for the year 1993 will be effective retroactive to January 1, 1993. Salaries specified in this ordinance shall be paid by the Director of Finance on a bi-weekly basis. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance hereby repeals any and all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions inconsistent herewith. SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure iMmediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary for continuity of services of the safety forces of the city,. and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
