Ordinanee No. 621 <br />By Mr. Oldhaxn <br />AIv ORDIIVAIvCE <br />CREATING A JUNIUR At3XILIARY VOLUNTEM FIl3:E DEI'ART1,1EIVT <br />Bi IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio: <br />Section l. That there is hereby established a Junior <br />Auxiliary 'Jolunteer Fire Department in the ?Iillage of North 0lmsted <br />to be composed of inembers of the age of eighteen years and upwards. <br />Section 2. The Junior Auxiliary Volunteer Fire De- <br />partment as herein constituted shall be under the control and <br />supervision of the Chief of the Fire Department and the Mayor <br />of the Village. <br />Section 3. The members of said Junior Auxiliary <br />Volunteer Fire Department shall be appointed by the Niayor and <br />approved by Council. <br />Section 4. The term of the members of the Junior <br />Auxiliary Volunteer Fire Department shall begin on the date of <br />their appointment by the Mayor and shall continue during the <br />pleasure of the PZayor and Council. <br />Section 5. The compensation of the members of <br />the Junior Auxiliary Volunteer Fire Department shall be the <br />same compensation as that fixed for menbers of the `r'olunteer <br />F'ire Department by the Salary Ordinance of the 'village of <br />North Olmsted. <br />Section 6. This ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure, the emergency being that it is necessary <br />for the ir:mediate preservation of public health, safety, welfare <br />and peace that this ordi.nance be passed at once and shall take <br />effsct and be in force from and after its passage. <br />Passed: April 6, 1943• <br />E.
