CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />ORDINANCE N0. 94- 23 <br />BY: <br />Councilman George Nashar <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR <br />AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMEAIT OF THE BRETTON RIDGE SUBDIVISION, <br />(PHASE 1) AS DETAILID IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO COPdTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGEPdCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of improving <br />the pavement and sewers in the Bretton Ridge Subdivision (Phase 1), and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared by the Engineering <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for the bids for the improvement of the Bretton Ridge <br />Subdivision (Phase 1) pavement and sewers according to specifications now on file <br />in his office and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is <br />hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immedia~~y upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED-~-~-~ / ~ <br /> <br />L. <br />APPROVED: <br />!-~ '".% <br />ID BOYLE, <br />'JAMES D.
