CITY OF NORTH 0 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94 - 11 <br />By: Councilman Dean McKay <br />A RESOLUTION AUTfiORIZING THE DIRDG~OR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR AMID ACCEPT BIDS FO8 THE OF SEf~TERS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS <br />IN THE. CITY, AS DFrA_n~D IN THE SP3JCIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND AUII~RIZING THE <br />MAYOR 1~0 CONt'RA(,T FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN ENIHtGII~.'Y. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of flowmonitoring <br />the sewers at various locations in the City in order to determine the nature and <br />extent of possible repairs, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared by the Engineering <br />Department of the City of North 07msted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement for said service. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLrISTED <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorize to advertise for the bids for the flowmonitoring of sewers at various <br />locations in the City according to specifications now on file in his office and <br />that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter <br />into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure imme iately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />APPROVED : „/~ i ~ y'y <br />war J oy e, yor <br />~-'Y'om-- <br />~ ames D.
