BOEHMER <br />t <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR <br />OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO ENTER INTO AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF OLMSTED FALLS <br />FOR THE SALE OF SURPLUS RADIO EQUIPMENT <br />NO LONGER NEEDED FOR USE IN THE FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, the City has purchased replacement radio equipment for the <br />North Olmsted Fire Department, and <br />WHEREAS, the old radio equipment has a scrap value of less than one <br />hundred dollars ($100.00), and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Olmsted Falls Fire Department has expressed an <br />interest in utilizing said surplus property, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Safety <br />Director of the City of North Olmsted to negotiate an agreement with the <br />City of Olmsted Falls for the sale of said equipment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Safety be and he is hereby <br />authorized to enter into an agreement with the City of Olmsted Fa11s for <br />the sale of surplus property radio equipment formerly used by the North <br />Olmsted Fire Department for a price of not less than eighty-five dollars <br />($85.00). <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~ ~-~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />k~ ~ <br />G// ~ y <br />Nora T.
