ORDINANCE NO. 77-~~~ <br />BY : Mr. Wilamosky <br />AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND CONFIRM- <br />ING THE EXPENDITURE OF $2,056.30 FOR <br />EMERGENCY REPAIRS FOR A WASTEWATER <br />TREATMENT LUGGER TRUCK, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Wastewater Treatment Plant of the City <br />of North Olmsted encountered problems on their 1971 Inter- <br />national Harvester hoist-type lugger truck and after analysis <br />it was determined that the entire engine had to be rebuilt, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is imperative that said Zugger truck be <br />repaired immediately so that it can be put back into service <br />in the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and <br />WHEREAS, said truck was repaired on an emergency basis <br />on July 5, 1977 at a cost of Two Thousand Fifty Six and 30/100 <br />Dollars ($2,056.30), which price was determined to be reasonable, <br />fair and competitive. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Council does hereby ratify and <br />confirm the expenditure of Two Thousand Fifty-six and 30/100 <br />Dollars ($2,056.30) for the emergency repair of a 1971 Inter- <br />national Harvester Hoist-type Lugger Truck which is used in <br />the Wastewater Treatment Plant of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance be and he is <br />hereby directed to pay to International Harvester Company <br />the sum of Two Thousand Fifty-six and 30/100 Dollars ($2,056.30) <br />which represents the entire repair costs for the emergency <br />repairs on the lugger truck. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preserva- <br />tion of the public health, safety and welfare and for the <br />further reason that it is immediately necessary to maintain <br />the City's good credit standing, and further provided it re- <br />ceives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : , ~~_ ~p ~7~, <br />ATTES a~~ <br />Nora T.
