,.. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 77 -~~~ <br />BY: Mr. Boehmer <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE <br />DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE <br />REPLACEMENT OF RADIO COMMUNICATION <br />EQUIPMENT AT FIRE STATION N0. 1 <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the radio equipment located at Fire Station No. 1 <br />in in the state of disrepair and is also obsolete, and <br />WHEREAS, it is immediately necessary to take corrective <br />measures to replace the aforesaid equipment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Safety be and he is <br />hereby autio ed to advertise for bids for the replacement of <br />the radio communication equipment at Fire Station No. 1, in <br />accordance with the specifications now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is aut~iorized to enter into a contract and execute the <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to replace the radio equipment <br />which is in a state of disrepair and obsolete, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : July 19, 1977 <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
