S , R , 252 DATE OF ENACTMENT <br />City <br />An emer~;ncy ordinance enacted by the:-~%il1aZ}:~~of NOZ'th Olmsted , <br />CUyahO~a County, Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement, <br />under the supervision of the Director of Transportation. <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Transportation is considering improving a portion of the public highway which i~ <br />described as follows: By applying an asphalt concrete intermediate course <br />403) and an asphalt concrete surface course (L}-0~) on S.R. 252 <br />~Colurnbia Road) between S.R.-17 (Brook Park Rd.) and the North Olmsted <br />North Corporation limit. Length: 9029 ft,; approximate thickness: 12 <br />inches; Wid~h: 20 & 22 ft,; Total length: 1.71 miles; also the shoulders <br />will be reconditioned by doing shoulder preparation and placing an <br />asphalt concrete shoulder wedge course (1.04). Width: 3 ft.; Approximate <br />thickness: 2 inches. <br />Pavement markings after completion of the work are the responsibility <br />of the City. The edge lines are to be placed so as to provide a twenty <br />(20) ft, and twenty-two (22) ft. pavement width and a three (3) ft. <br />paved shoulder on each side. <br />city <br />NOW THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the~ij~T~g~of North Olmsted , <br />Ohio: <br />SECTION I (Consent) <br />City <br />That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of saidX/~lYac~e be and such consent is hereby <br />given to the Director of Transportation to construct the above described improvement, in accordance with plans, <br />specifications and estimates as approved by the Director. <br />SECTION II (Cooperation) <br />City <br />That saidx~~a~e hereby proposes to cooperate with the State of Ohio, in the cost of the above described <br />improvement as follows: A pump sum of $12,320.00 which includes the cost of <br />resurfacing, engineering, contingencies and adjusting utility castings <br />to grade. <br />SECTION II-A <br />That the Lump sum of $12 , X20 00 <br />is hereby appropriated for the improvement of the highway as described hereinabove. <br />SECTION III (Authority to Sign) <br />That the <br />City <br />of said=l~if~a~; is hereby autf~orized to enter <br />(Contractual Officers Title) <br />into maintenance and parking agreements and special contractual obligations. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
