<br />^ s w <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 79 - 137 <br />BY : <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 165.03 OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES ENTITLED "LANDMARKS COMMISSION, <br />COMPOSITION AND TERMS" OF CHAPTER 163'ENTITLED <br />"LANDMARKS COMMISSION". <br />WHEREAS, the Landmarks Commission was established by the <br />passage of Ordinance No. 75-196 on September 16, 1975, and <br />WHEREAS, after a number of years of experience in its organ- <br />ization and operation, the Landmarks Commission is of the opinion <br />that it is only necessary to have one council member sit on the <br />Landmarks Commission, and <br />WHEREAS, after careful consideration the Council agrees that <br />it is only necessary to have one member of Council sit on the <br />Landmarks Commission. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTTON l: That Section 165"03 of the Codified Ordinances <br />of the City o Noxth Olmsted, entitl.ed "Landmarks Commission, <br />Composition and Terms" which now reads: <br />11165.03 Landmarks Commission Composition and Terms <br />There is hereby created the North Qlmsted Landmarks Commission. Said <br />Commission shall consist of nine (9) members, six (6) of whom sha11 <br />be appointed by the A4ayor, subject to the confirmation of the Council. <br />The remaining members shall be two (2) Council persons and one (1) <br />representative of the City Planning Commission, who shall act as <br />secretary. Each appointed member sha11 serve for a term of two (2) <br />years and may be reappointed. The members sha11 select a Chairman to <br />serve for a two year term.
