-- <br />r_ <br />CITY OF NORTEi OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 79 - 100 <br />BY: "L26" <br />er <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING TI-iE COMPENSATION TO BE <br />PAID TO ADMINISTRATIVE AND MAINI'ENANCE PERSONNEL <br />EMF'LOYED BY THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, <br />AND DECLARING AN IlKERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a compensation <br />schedule for all administrative and maintenance personnel employed by the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />NOIV, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TI-IE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That effective February 1, 1979, the compensation to be paid <br />to the non-bus riving personnel of the North Olmsted Mun.icipal Bus Line shall <br />be as follows: <br />A. Administrative Personnel: <br />General Manager <br />Supervisor of Operations <br />Supervisor of Ma.intenance <br />Assistant Supervisor of <br />hla.intenance <br />Administrative Assistant <br />Secretary <br />Zone Supervisor <br />B. Ma.intenance Employees: <br />Mechanic Equipment <br />$22,106 to $26,000 <br />$18,900 to $24,750 <br />$20,500 to $24,800 <br />$15,000 to $20,000 <br />$15,000 to $18,500 <br />$ 831000 to $11,500 <br />$15,000 to $20,260 <br />$8.285 per hour to start <br />$8.46 per hour after 1 year <br />$8.52 per hour after 2 years <br />$8.685 per hour after 3 years <br />Mechanic Leader <br />Mechanic Apprentice <br />Serviceman <br />Extra Labor <br />$8.985 per hour to start <br />$9.105 per hour after 1 year <br />$7.79 per hour to start <br />$8.005 per hour after 1 year <br />$8.15 per hour after 2 years <br />$7.65 per hour to start <br />$7.82 per hour after 1 year <br />$7.995 per hour after 2 years <br />$2.90 per hour to $5.12 per hour <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance or any other ordinance or parts of <br />ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the further reason that it is iimnediately necessary to <br />provide for the continuity of service of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force irmnediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor.
