Ll?o'4 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TEIF TR,AFFIC CONTROL MAP <br />AND FILE OF THE CITY OP NORTH OLb'LSTED TO PROVIDE <br />FOR TfiE INSTALLATION OF A STOP SIGN AT LUSANDRA <br />CIRCLE WHERE IT I;VTERSECTS AT LAURFL LANE, ANLI <br />DECLARING AN OIERGENCY. <br />Wf-EREAS, it is the desire of this Council to have a stop sign installed <br />at Lusandra Circle where it intersects Laurel Lane to control the flow of <br />traffic in a northwesterly direction on Lusandra Circle where it intersects <br />Laurel La.ne, and <br />?NHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of <br />the traffic control map, which said map can be amended only by ordinance. <br />NOIN, TI-EREFORE, BE IT CIRDAINED BY TfIF CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby authorized <br />and directed to amend the traffic control map and file of the City of North <br />Olmsted to indicate thereon the installation of a stop sign at Lusandra Circle <br />where it intersects at La.urel Lane to control the flow of traffic in a north- <br />westerly direction on Lusandra Circle where it intersects Laurel Lane. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby directed to cause said stop <br />sian to e?talled in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure utune lately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the further reason tha.t it is immediately necessary for the <br />proper and safe regulation of traffic within the area, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Ma.yor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />F ORENCE ('.AMpBE , CLERK V?T COUNCIL D EY ZPE ,?
