„w,,;,tt <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />QRl)INANCF N0. 79- 45 <br />BY: 2& _ <br />, <br />.?. <br />AN ORDINANCE AT'IENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP AIVD <br />FILE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO PROVIDE FOR <br />THE INSTALLATION OF TWO (2) 'I'HlZEE-WAY STOP SI(NS, <br />ONE SIGN TO BE L(X',ATED ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF <br />HATPTON DRIVE, AND THE OTf-IER SIGN TO BF LOCATED ON <br />THE SQUTNEAST CORNER OF HArZPTON DRTVE, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHERF.AS, it is the desire of this Council to provide for the <br />installation of two (2) thxee-way stop signs, one sign to be located on the <br />northwest corner of Hampton I7rive, and the other sign to be located on the <br />southeast corner of Hampton Drive in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />iNf-IERF,AS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance <br />of the Traffic Control Ma.p, which said map can only be amended by ordinance. <br />NQW, T'HEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLNISTED, COLINTY OF CUYAHOGA A1VD STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is hereby <br />authorize an irected to amend the Traffic Control Map and File of the <br />City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the installation of two (2) three- <br />way stop signs, one sign to be located on the northwest corner of Hampton <br />Drive, and the other sign to be located on the southeast corner of Hampton <br />Drive. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby directed to cause <br />signs to be installed in accordance with the provisions o£ this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure irrune iately necessary for the nreservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is irrnnediately necessary <br />to establish safe driving conditions at said intersections, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and anproval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: C2,a.,-z !2, /,19 <br />Gs <br />• ? ??
