<br />? <br />Or—, <br />_0% <br />CITY OF NORTH OLM.STED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 79- 36 <br />BY: MAY0R SWIETYNIOWSKI <br />A RESOLUTION AU'THORIZING THE DIFtECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION <br />OF THE NORTH OI??1STED SENIOR CENTER, AND DECLARIN_r, <br />AN F"ERGENCY, AS AMENI)ED. <br />Wf-IEREAS, the City has embarked upon a program to construct a Senior <br />Center in the North Olmsted Municipal Park, and <br />WI-EREAS, the architect has supplied the City with detailed plans, <br />specifications and cost estimates. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY T'HE COUNCIL OF TI-IE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLNSTED, OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorize to a vertise for bids for the construction of a Senior Center <br />in accordance with specifications now on file in his office and that upon <br />approval by the Board of Control the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter <br />into contracts and execute same of behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby determined to be an emer- <br />gency measure necessary for the preservation of the nublic health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the further reason it is irmnediately necessary to <br />obtain bids so that construction can commence during the 1979 building <br />season, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Cotmcil, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: 0411j, ' ``TZq7p' <br />ATTEST: <br />LORE CE E.
