.?..?._.??. ..._._ .a.?.. . __ . <br />?? ...?.._.. ,.., _._ <br />.? <br />? <br />.., <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 79- 6 <br />BY: <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A POLICY OF REQUIRING ALL <br />UNIFORM SWORN PERSONNEL IN THE FIRE DEPAR'IMENT TO <br />BECOME CERTIFIED PARAMEDICS WITHIN THIRTY SIX (36) <br />M0NTHS OF DATE OF HIRING. <br />WfEREAS, the Council and Administration recognize the need for Paramedic <br />training with respect to the members of the Fire Department, and <br />jNHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a policy requiring <br />all uniform sworn personnel within the Fire Department to become certified <br />Paramedics within thirty six (36) months of date of hiring. Failure on any <br />individuals part to do so shall be grounds for dismissal. <br />NOiN, Tf-EREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TEE COUNCIL OF 'I'HF, CITY OF NORTH ODIISTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That there is hereby established a policy applicable to all <br />uniform sworn personnel in the Fire Department whereby said personnel shall be <br />required to become certified Paramedics within thirty six (36) months of the date <br />of hiring.
