W <br />oll <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR A 12 TON UTILITY SERVICE VAN <br />FOR THE WASTE WATER TREA'TMENT SYSTEM, AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the present vehicle assigned to the Wastewater Treatment <br />System Division suffered a casualty loss on 12-21-78, and; <br />WHEREAS, the cost to repair said vehicle is in excess of $1,000 <br />and said vehicle is four years old with 50,000 miles on the odometer, <br />said vehicle is construed to be an economic total loss. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authoriz'? to advertise for bids for: <br />1- 12 Ton Utility Service Van, in accordance with the <br />specifications now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control, the Niayor is <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measur ie mme iately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and for the further reason that the aforesaid equipment <br />is needed for sewer system maintenance, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED A /9 7 <br />ATTEST: <br />F ORENCE CAMPBELL, CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />D: ) - G - '? q <br />0 <br /> <br />. <br />. <br />DFJIE z ERT, IDENT OF <br />COUNCIL <br />First reading: 1..07- 79 <br />Second reading: /_/,/_ 72 <br />Third reading: t - j - 79
