CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-129 <br />BY: Mr. Wilamosky <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />3,500 TONS OF SALT AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY . <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and <br />he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 3,500 tons of <br />salt in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, <br />and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is <br />hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmste d. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is herby declared to <br />be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to purchase said salt in order to <br />take advantage of the existing price structure, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ ~ /~~° <br />Y-- <br />ATTES~T: ~ <br />~~/~.R.t,.c~ % l./ . <br />Nora T.
