CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 7 6- ~~,Z.. <br />r. ~ .~ T- <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SERVICE <br />DIRECTOR TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />5500 TONS OF ASPHALT, AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 5500 tons <br />of asphalt for use in repairing the streets of the City, accord- <br />ing to specifications now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and execute same <br />on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preserva- <br />tion of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further <br />reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for the City's <br />requirements for asphalt to repair the streets, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />L/~ /, <br />Nora T.
