CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76 -~O/ <br />BY: ~ ~ f <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SERVICE DIRECTOR <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 1000 TONS OF SLAG, <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he <br />is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for 1000 tons of slag <br />of various sizes for use in maintaining the City's streets in <br />accordance with the specifications now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control, <br />the Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and execute same <br />on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preserva- <br />tion of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary to provide for the City's <br />slag requirements, and further provided it receives the affirma- <br />tive vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ / <br />ATTEST: <br />~~ ~ ~ ' r <br />Nora T.
