CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />BY : ~~~. .e.._., _ <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76 - 8 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR <br />OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br />FOR LIABILITY INSURANCE. COVERING OFFICIALS, <br />MEMBERS OF COUNCIL, EMPLOYEES AND MEMBERS <br />OF THE BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he <br />is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for insurance coverage <br />respecting the liability of all officials, members of Council, employees <br />and members of the boards and commissions of the City of North Olmsted, <br />according to specifications now on file in his office, and that upon <br />the approval by the Board of Control the Mayor is hereby authorized <br />to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />the existing insurance coverage was cancelled effective February 1, <br />1976, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: ~ U/ <br />L i~~ /- 6 <br />NORA T.
