Wilamosky <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PLACING OR <br />DEPOSITING OF LITTER, GARBAGE, RUBBISH, <br />JUNK, AUT(3i~iOBILES, AND LIKE ITEMS IN THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of Council to establish the regulation <br />for littering and deposit of garbage, rubbish, junk, automobiles, <br />and like items in the City of North Olmsted; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That there are hereby created the following regulations <br />governing the depositing of litter, garbage, rubbish, junk, automobiles <br />and like items, in the City of North Olmsted: <br />A. No person shall, without lawful authority, place or dispose of <br />in any manner, upon any public property or upon the premises of <br />another, any paper, trash, garbage, waste, rubbish, refuse, junk, <br />or any substance or material which is or may become noxious, <br />offensive, injurious or dangerous to the public health, comfort <br />or safety. <br />B. No person shall cause or allow trash, garbage, waste, rubbish, <br />refuse, or any other noxious or offensive materials or substances <br />to be collected or remain in any place to the damage or prejudice <br />of others or of the public, or unlawfully obstruct, impede, divert, <br />corrupt or render unwholesome or impure, any natural watercourse. <br />C. No person, firm or corporation shall, without lawful authority, <br />store, place or allow to remain motor vehicles in an inoperative <br />condition, motor vehicles unfit for further use as motor vehicles, <br />and/or automobile parts on private or public property unless kept <br />within a building, The above shall also apply to semi-trailers <br />which are in an inoperative condition or an unsafe condition. <br />Firms or corporations engaged in the motor vehicle or semi-trailer <br />repair business are permitted to let motor vehicles and semi- <br />trailers remain outside of a building for a period not to exceed <br />seven (7) days. upon the seventh (7th) day, the motor vehicles <br />and/or semi-trailers must be placed within a building or in an <br />operative and/or safe condition. <br />D. Who ever violates any of the provisions of this ordinance shall <br />be fined not more than One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00).
