~:: <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 74 - ~p/ <br />BY: Mr. Limpert <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SERVICE <br />DIRECTOR TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />5500 TONS OF ASPHALT, AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he <br />is hereby author~.zed to advertise for bids for 5500 tons of asphalt <br />for use in repairing the streets of the City, according to specifica- <br />tions now on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf <br />of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this resolution i:s hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it <br />is immediately necessary to provide for the City's requirements for <br />asphalt to repair the streets, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval /b~y the Mayor . <br />PASSED: ""//C1.a ~ /~17~ <br />ATTEST: ~' <br />~4~ <br />Nora T.
