CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO . 7.5 - ~~ <br />Bar: Mr. Limpert <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF <br />SECRETARY TO COMMISSIONS AND PROVIDING COMPEN- <br />SATION THEREFOR, AND DECLARIL~ AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has heretofore, by virtue of Ordinance <br />69-25, established a position of Secretary to Commissions, and at <br />the same time established a salary range for said position between <br />$1,800.00 to $2,500.00; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to increase the <br />compensation range to be paid to the person holding the position of <br />Secretary to Commissions; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDPiINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the position of Secretary to Commissions of <br />the City of North Olmsted is hereby confirmed and re-established <br />and is to be considered to be a part-time position, and the compen- <br />sation to be paid to said Secretary shall be effective retroactively <br />to January 1, 1975, as follows: <br />Secretary to the Commissions - $1,800.00 to $3,000.00 Annually. <br />SECTION 2: That any ordinance or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or resolutions, in conflict herein are hereby repealed <br />with the effective date of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety, and welfare, and for the furtrher reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and. bring them <br />into line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further <br />provided. it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and. be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and. approval by the Mayor. <br />PA~,SED <br />ATTEST: ~/ <br />~~~ ~ ~~~~ <br />NORA T.
