CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~~'I~~3 <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON CERTAIN PERMANENT PARCELS <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SANITARY <br />SEWER LATERAL, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Finance Director <br />of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the <br />construction of a sanitary sewer lateral. <br />WHEREAS, the following persons have paid in full the future payments <br />for special assessments on certain parcels as set forth below: <br />232-6-22,24,25 Biskind <br />233-19-19 Leachko <br />Lorain Road <br />$986.10 <br />969.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Dhio: <br />Section_1_:....That the- Auditor=~f -Cuyahoga-Lourty---#~e -and- #~e -i-s-hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 197 5 through 19 8~, inclusive <br />assessments in-full for construction of a sanitary sewer lateral. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such assess- <br />ments on said parcels. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on certain permanent <br />parcels for the construction of a sanitary sewer lateral. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED • •si <br />ATTEST : k~ <br />~~~~~ <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED : ~/~/~S~ <br />Mayor <br />President f ouncil <br />_.,.~~.~... , ., ~.P~~~>h ,max t ;..w ; ..~.. ~,.r,.~~,.,~:~ ~.~ , :.. r. ~_ <br />
