lrITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />./ ORDINANCE N0. ,~%/f~~ <br />B Y Li~GC.J Lc'%~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION OF <br />SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 235-8-33 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR sidewalk <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the sidewalk. <br />WHEREAS, The Owner ofSouthern Avenue <br />have paid the sum of $1,562.50 in payment of said special assessments, in advance, <br />for the tax years 19 75 through 1979, inclusive, together with accrued interest <br />levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 235-8-33 in the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Auditor <br />authorized and directed to cancel for <br />assessments in full for, sidewalk. <br />of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />the years 1975 through 19 79 , inclusive <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such <br />assessments for the period 19 75through 19 79, inclusive, amounting to <br />$1,562.50 on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 235-8-33 for sidewalk. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASS EB : ~75~ <br />ATTEST :~~ <br />L~~ <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED : G/~//j'S <br />Mayor <br />Presi ent of Council <br />~` <br />
