CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. ,,1=/,3"`.2. BY ~~ _ ORD CE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 235-8-34 BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR STORM SEWER AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the storm sewer. WHEREAS, Shore West Construction Co. of Southern Avenue have paid the sum of $4$3.76 in payment of said special assessments, in advance, for the tax years 19 75 through1978, inclusive, together with accrued interest levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 235-8-34 in the City of North Olmsted, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1: .That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cancel for the years 197 5through 19 78 , inclusive assessments in full for, storm sewer. Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such assessments for the period 1975 through 1978 inclusive, amounting to $483.76 on said parcel. Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Section_4: Wherefore,-this -0 rdi~~nce ~s hereby declared to be an emergency-measure necessary for tfie preservation-~f the puti-1 i-c peace-,-trealth and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of the necessity of cance lling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel No. 235-8-34 for storm sewer. Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
