MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COS.R3CIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />November 1$, 1969 <br />8:00 p.m, <br />Present: President of Council Pro Tem Carroll S. Eian, Cauncilmen Caster, <br />Hodgins, Limpert, Miller, Prokasy, West. <br />Absent: President of Council Francis J. 0'Neill. <br />Also preaent: Mayor Ralph E. Chriatman, Fit}ance Director Wi1,liam Gerlach, <br />Law Dizector J. Bruch,.Kitchen, Acting City Engineer Michael <br />Karhan azxd Clerk of Council Florence Holm. <br />Minutes of special meeting of November 3, 1969 were approved aa written; <br />also minutes of regular meeting of Council of November 5, 1969 were approved <br />as written. <br />Acting City Engineer Karhan said the work in Engoglia Subdivisinn, is not com- <br />plete yet. He requested Cauncil to hold up passage of legielation until it <br />is complete. Mre. Hodgins, Chaiz'man Liquor Control Camtpittee, said this committee has re- <br />viewed four applicatione for liquor permits. There is legislation tonight <br />objecting ta approval of Applicatian No. 9290637-4005. Committee requeats <br />that Clerk write letter to accompany legislation to be mailed to Ohio Depart- <br />ment of Liquor Control. <br />Mr. Caster, Chairman of Municipal Development Cormnittee, said three objectione <br />have been received an Sanitary Sewer Contract 15 to date. An Equalization <br />Boaxd wi11 need to be appainted to handle said objections. Mr. Caeter also <br />mentioned the varioua pieces of legislation of aceeptance far dedication on <br />Agenda tonight. These will all be put on first reading tonight. <br />Mr. Weat, Chairman of Finance Committee, said this committee had met an Novem- <br />ber 15th to discusa remaining 1969 balance of appropriations. He said there <br />is legislation tonight authorizing bids for equipment which has been approved <br />by Finance Committee. <br />Mr. Prokaay, Chairman of Dasign & Platting Committee, mentioned legislation an <br />Agenda for the Geollner 5ubdivieion. He said S. D. C. 5ubdivisian plans are <br />still in committee, awaiting report on the txaffic survey. The 13orth Olmsted <br />Subdivision will require much more study and 3s to be held in committee. Mr. <br />Prokasy will request legislatian be drawn up for Sandy Ridge 7 and 8 street L'' <br />openings, Ally Subdivieion, and rezoning of Brookpark extension. Mr. Prokasy <br />then explained amendment to Ordinance No. 69-131. Council and Planniag Com- <br />mission are now in agreement to amend Ordinapce No. 69-131 as fallows: strike <br />out Section 1 in its entirety. Section 2 to be xewritten to read as follows: <br />"That Ordinance No. 62-33, enacted June 19, 1962, 5ection 1173.02, Sub-Paragrsph <br />H-2, entitled 'PermitCed Buildings and Uses,' now reading as followe: 1173.02 <br />Permitted Buildinxe and Uses (H - 2) No fuel filling appliance is erected <br />wtthin fifteen (15) feet of any street 1ine.", be and the same is hereby amended <br />to read as follows: 1173.02 Permitted BuildinRs and Uses Sub-Paragraph H- 2 <br />is hereby deleted in ite entirety." The 5ection numbers will then be re-numbered. <br />Mr. Prokasy maved that a copy of this amended ardiaanae again be referred to Plan- <br />ning Conimiseion, aeconded by Mr. Caster.
