4 . 1 i <br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />AUGUST 19, 1969 <br />8:00 p.m. <br />Present: President of Council Pro Tem Carroll Eian, Councilmen Casfier, <br />Limpert, Brokasy, Weste <br />Absent: President of Council Francis J. 0'Neill, Councilmen Hodgins <br />and Miller. <br />Also present: Mayor Ralph E. Christman, Service Director Charles Watts, <br />Law Director J. Bruce Kitchen and Clerk of Council Florence Aolm. <br />Mr. Prokasy moved that the minutes of Council for August Sth be amended to <br />include the corrections noted in the Clerk's letter of August 14th. Mr. <br />Caster seconded the motion. "Yeas" Caster, Eian, Limpert, Prokasy, West. <br />Minutes were approved as amended. <br />Mayor Christman announced that prel.iminary application to Ohio Water Devalop- <br />ment Authority for expansion ot Sewage Treatment Plant ($3,200,000) has beeM <br />made. Also, he has written to Township Trustees regarding Grant Application <br />fpr recreational use of Spring Vale as an acquisition by the City. <br />SQrvice Director Watts reported that the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line has <br />received their six new buses; tour are now in operation and the other two <br />will be later this week. <br />MX. Limpert, Chairman of the Transportation Committee, requested the Clerk to <br />coMtact Fairview Transportation Committee. North Olmsted Transportation Com- <br />mittes would like to meet with Fairview committee as soon as convenient, <br />possibly the 25th or 26th of August. <br />Mr. $ian, Chairman of Satety, Health & Welfare Committee, reminded Councilmen <br />of previously announced meeting of this committee for September 9th, at 8:00 <br />p.m., in the Caucus Room of Council. This is to be a joint meeting with the <br />Finance Committee. <br />Mr. West, Chairman of Finance Committee, announced that there will be a com- <br />bined Finance and Municipal Development Committees' meeting on September 8th, <br />at 8:30 p.m. Mr. West requested that all Councilmen be present for this im- <br />portant meeting. <br />Mr. Prokasy, Chairman of Design & Platting Committee, said this committee had <br />met on August 12th. Committee will be requesting legislation for approval of <br />Gonstruction of transmission line by CEI, for additional easement for high <br />tension wires, approxirnately 50' running generally parallel with existing trans , <br />mission linese Also, legislation for approval of S. D. C., Inc. Subdivision far <br />record purposes only, and legislation amending Lake City Lands Re-Subdivision fox <br />record purposes only. <br />Ordinance No. 68-100 was given its third reading. It had been introduced by <br />Mr. Frokasy. An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 62-33, enacted June 19, <br />196?, entitled "An Ordinance dividing the City of North Olmsted, Ohio into <br />4D Districts for the purpose of regulating and restricting the location of build- <br />ings and other structures, and of premises to be used for trade, industry, <br />repidence or other specified uses: regulating and limiting the height of <br />bulldings and other structures, regulating the bulk and location of buildings <br />
