4 . 1 i MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AUGUST 19, 1969 8:00 p.m. Present: President of Council Pro Tem Carroll Eian, Councilmen Casfier, Limpert, Brokasy, Weste Absent: President of Council Francis J. 0'Neill, Councilmen Hodgins and Miller. Also present: Mayor Ralph E. Christman, Service Director Charles Watts, Law Director J. Bruce Kitchen and Clerk of Council Florence Aolm. Mr. Prokasy moved that the minutes of Council for August Sth be amended to include the corrections noted in the Clerk's letter of August 14th. Mr. Caster seconded the motion. "Yeas" Caster, Eian, Limpert, Prokasy, West. Minutes were approved as amended. Mayor Christman announced that prel.iminary application to Ohio Water Devalop- ment Authority for expansion ot Sewage Treatment Plant ($3,200,000) has beeM made. Also, he has written to Township Trustees regarding Grant Application fpr recreational use of Spring Vale as an acquisition by the City. SQrvice Director Watts reported that the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line has received their six new buses; tour are now in operation and the other two will be later this week. MX. Limpert, Chairman of the Transportation Committee, requested the Clerk to coMtact Fairview Transportation Committee. North Olmsted Transportation Com- mittes would like to meet with Fairview committee as soon as convenient, possibly the 25th or 26th of August. Mr. $ian, Chairman of Satety, Health & Welfare Committee, reminded Councilmen of previously announced meeting of this committee for September 9th, at 8:00 p.m., in the Caucus Room of Council. This is to be a joint meeting with the Finance Committee. Mr. West, Chairman of Finance Committee, announced that there will be a com- bined Finance and Municipal Development Committees' meeting on September 8th, at 8:30 p.m. Mr. West requested that all Councilmen be present for this im- portant meeting. Mr. Prokasy, Chairman of Design & Platting Committee, said this committee had met on August 12th. Committee will be requesting legislation for approval of Gonstruction of transmission line by CEI, for additional easement for high tension wires, approxirnately 50' running generally parallel with existing trans , mission linese Also, legislation for approval of S. D. C., Inc. Subdivision far record purposes only, and legislation amending Lake City Lands Re-Subdivision fox record purposes only. Ordinance No. 68-100 was given its third reading. It had been introduced by Mr. Frokasy. An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 62-33, enacted June 19, 196?, entitled "An Ordinance dividing the City of North Olmsted, Ohio into 4D Districts for the purpose of regulating and restricting the location of build- ings and other structures, and of premises to be used for trade, industry, repidence or other specified uses: regulating and limiting the height of bulldings and other structures, regulating the bulk and location of buildings
