Herd Childs, Clerk of Council Dora Hill. <br />Absent: President O'Neill, Councilman Wilamosky. <br />Meeting was tailed to order by President Pro Tem Beringer at 8:00 P.M. <br />Minutes of Council Meeting of Novem~sr 18, 1975, were approved as read. <br />Mayor Christman reported: 1) sttbmittsd to Council for their caesidsration <br />his reco~smrndations for appointment tp the Laasdararks Corraissw eatsbiishai <br />under Ord. No. 75-196 which are as falloArs: Mamie Albright, 2!5343 Butternut <br />Ridge Rd.; Lois Van Auken, 5149 Berkshire Drive; Richard Feuer, 23643 <br />Stoneybrook Drive; Nick Del Giudice, 4573 Michael Dr., James Rsdovian, <br />5578 Dorothy Drive and Almsra ksita, S?87 Canterbury Road.; <br />2) receivrd today complete rscdstiaos which will be made to the RTA <br />Board on further service improva~o-ts on RTA linen throughotet the County. <br />They have not been adopted by the RTA ward but they feel they will be smartly. <br />Regarding North Olmsted,- there is additional service to the West Park Rapid <br />Station. Wi11 hawe copies made and forwarded to Council. Mr. West discussed <br />the fact that we had recosssndard a bas oust to Brookpark Station and to conple <br />the Ford and Chevy Plants, and mevr to West Park. Further, was ware assured <br />that the Brookpark service was the mast frequent one requestal and we wsre <br />sure to get it. Mayan explained the ser~rice imgroveaents haute barn set up in <br />two stages. ~ second stage ~rltch should be isplemsnted by the middle of next <br />year would provide for anorth-•south line fra~m Lace Rd. to 6rsat l~ortbsra ing <br />and also continuous service aloes Brookpark Rd. <br />President Pro Tem Beringer asked Mayor Christman if the people rscomms~d as <br />his appointments to the Laridwsrks Cossd.ssion have been notified and accepted. <br />Mayor stated all but one and he is als~est sure of acceptance but right now the <br />person is out of town. <br />President Pro Tem Saringsx referred tlee Mayor's reco~eaeandation: far approval <br />to the Landmarks Commission to Mr. iiilamoeEky, Chairman Intra Governmental relations <br />& Legislation Committee. <br />Law Director Gateau reported: 1) inn procsas of preparing legislation which <br />will implement what is comm®nly called the "Sunshine Law" sad informed Cceuncil <br />prior to this meeting that he gill nsmd soma input with respect to whether or <br />not a charge would be made for those ~ desire notification, and if so, what <br />amount; <br />2) would like to meet with the Finaace Coamittea with thought in aired of adding <br />an additional attorney to the Lsm'tfepertront as a Civil Assistant with salary <br />of approximately $5,500.
