~~ <br />MINUTES OF SP$CIAL MEBTING OF THE COUItC2L <br />OF TgE CITY OF NigZT~i OLMSTED <br />MARCH 30, 1976 <br />Present: President Dewey H. Lampert, Councilmen Beaty, Goggin, Beringer, Sharpe, <br />West, Wilamosky. <br />Also present: Mayor Ralph Christman, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance <br />Director William Gerlach, Service Director gamy Caster, Safety <br />Director Raymond Carnahan, Clerk of Council Nora Hill. <br />Absent: Councilmen Boehmer. <br />Special Meeting of Council was called to order by President Lin~ert at 7:30 P.M. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 76-34 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was gfven its second reading. <br />An Ordinance transferring appropriations and making additional appropriations <br />for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of l~rth Olmsted, Ohia, <br />for the year ending December 31, 1976, as amended. Mr. Wilanwaky moved for <br />suspension of rule requiring three separate readings, seconded by Mr. West. <br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, Goggin, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamcsky. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. West. Mr. Beaty questioned if we are still <br />open for negotiations on salaries; stated his concern for the need for extra <br />help in the Safety Forces; discussed equipment. Mr. Wilamosky explained how the <br />ordinance was aasnded to include sons; monies and that there is room to negotiate. <br />Discussion continued. ROLL CALL ON A~OTIOH: Affirmative vote: Beaty, Goggin, <br />Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilasosky. Motion carried. Ord. No. 76-34 adopted. <br />Mr. Wilamoaky moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Boehmer, seconded by <br />Mrs. Saringer. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Goggin, Saringer, Sharpe, West, <br />Wilamosky. I~tion carried. <br />Mr. West moved for ad3aurnaent, seconded by Mr. Beaty. Affirmative vote: Beaty, <br />Goggin, Saringer, Sharpe, hest, Wilamosky.
