MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JULY 31, 1984 <br />Present: President James Boehmer, Councilmen Bierman, O'Grady, Petrigac, <br />Saringer. <br />Also present: Mayor Robert Swietyniowski, Finance Director Edward Boyle, Clerk of <br />Council Florence Campbell. <br />Absent: Councilmen Rademaker, Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />Special Meeting of Council was called to order by President Boehmer at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved to amend the agenda to allow consideration of a D1 liquor permit <br />for Gary Von Agency, Inc., dba Frauleins, 25700 Lorain Road, second by Mrs. Saringer. <br />Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: O'Grady, Saringer. Negative vote: Bierman, <br />Petrigac. 2 Aye - 2 Nay - President Boehmer abstained. Motion failed. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 84-68 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $3,050,000 notes in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of constructing, furnishing and <br />equipping a combined Bus Garage, Service Garage and Municipal Administration <br />Building and improving the site thereof, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />84-68 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-69 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $350,000 notes in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds for the purpose of purchasing trucks, automobiles and <br />other motorized equipment, together with the necessary appurtances thereto, for <br />various departments of the City, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 84-69 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-70 introduced by Mrs. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $75,000 notes in anticipation of <br />the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring and installing telephone equipment and <br />necessary appurtenances thereto for use by the City, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for adoption, second. by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance <br />No. 84-70 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-71 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $54,000 notes, in anticipation of <br />the issuance of bonds for the purpose of acquiring motor vehicles for the Department <br />of Public Safety, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption, second <br />by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved.
