MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JULY 12, 1984 <br />Present: President James Boehmer, Councilmen Bierman, O'Grady, Rademaker, <br />Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. (Mrs. Saringer present at 7:40 P.M.) <br />Also present: Finance Director Edward Boyle, Director of Budget and Management <br />James Logan, Acting Clerk of Council Linda Spencer. <br />Absent: Councilwoman Petrigac. <br />Special Meeting of Council was called to order by President Boehmer at 7:30 P.M. <br />Budget and Management Director Logan reported that the Great Northern Shopping <br />Center property valuation was increased to $23,500,000 from $20,000,000, which <br />has a significant impact on the 1984/85 budget. Council has received copies of <br />the changes being made in the budget, which, for the most part, simply balance <br />this additional anticipated revenue with the expenditures already indicated. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 84-44 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its second <br />reading. A resolution adopting the budget of the City of North Olmsted for the <br />fiscal year beginning January 1,.1985, and submitting the same to the County <br />Auditor, and declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved to amend Resolution No. 84-44 by inserting, within the exhibit, <br />the data provided by Mr. Logan, with the exception of the first two pages; starting <br />with the cover page of the exhibit and striking and/or removing the existing portion <br />of the exhibit and inserting the revised portion as submitted by Mr. Logan this <br />evening, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 84-44 amended <br />and placed back on second reading. <br />President Boehmer called a Special Council Meeting for Saturday, July 14, 1984, at <br />10:00 A.M., and placed Resolution No. 84-44 on the agenda for this meeting. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved to excuse the absence of Councilwoman Petrigac, second by <br />Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Special Council <br />Meeting at 7:45 P.M. <br />~ ~1~~ ~ <br />n Spencer, cting Clerk of Council awes D.
