<br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF Tf~ COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JULY 10, 1990 <br />Present: Council President Boehmer, Council Members Leonard, <br />McKay, Nashar, O'Grady, Saringer, Tallon. <br />Also Present: Acting Clerk of Council James Burns <br />Absent: Councilwoman Babas <br />Council President Boehmer called the special council meeting to order at <br />7:15 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, <br />Ohio. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 90-92 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second <br />reading. A resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor and Director <br />of Law to accept on behalf of the City of North Olmsted the vacant <br />apartment building containing six (6) suites which is currently located <br />on property owned by Paradise Pontiac, and to further negotiate and <br />present to this council a final proposal for the moving of said <br />apartment building to the southeasterly portion of the Recreation Center <br />property; to present a lease agreement with either the West Shore <br />Council of governments or the West Shore Enforcement Bureau for the <br />operation of a rehabilitation/detention facility to be utilized by said <br />entity for driving while under the influence of alcohol offenses; to <br />present to the council an operating agreement with Oriana House, a <br />non/profit organization, to operate said facility; and to present to <br />this council any additional aspects in order to facilitate the use of <br />the aforesaid building for alcohol rehabilitation and detention, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Miscellaneous Business: <br />Mr. O'Grady moved to excuse the absence of Councilwoman Babas; second by <br />Mr. Leonard. Passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Boehmer announced that there would be another council meeting on <br />Ordinance 90-92 Morrow night at 7:20 p.m. Audience participation will <br />be allowed until 7:30 p.m. The Board of Zoning Appeals will be meeting <br />at 7:30 p.m., immediately after the special council meeting. <br />The agenda being completed, the meeting was adjourned by President <br />Boehmer at 7:20 p.m. <br />~ `~ <br />~eman, Acti <br />Council <br />°'~' <br />ames ll. tsoenmer, rr <br />Council <br />
