MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL ,~ OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FEBRUARY 17, 1998 Present: Council President Pro Tem Limpert, Council Members Gareau, Kasler, McKay, Miller, Nashar, O'Grady Also Present: Mayor Musial, Law Director Gareau, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of Council Seman Absent: Council President Saringer Council President Pro Tem Limpert called the meeting to order at 8:08 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Mr. McKay moved to approve the minutes of the Council meeting of February 3, 1998 as written; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. President Pro Tem Limpert announced that Ordinance Nos. 98-8, 98-9 and Resolution Nos. 98-7 and 98-13 would be passed under suspension of the rules. REPORTS Mayor Musial: 1) In a continuing effort to improve Springvale, patrons of the facility are being asked to fill out evaluations which will be used to provide information on what steps need to be taken to improve the facility. 2) The Mayor's Ball was held on Saturday, February 14. The Springvale staff did an excellent job and he compliments them on their efforts. The food was excellent and everyone had a very good time. 3) The Westshore Council of Governments has been meeting with regard to the revision of the dues structure. He has agreed to a change, subject to Council's approval. The dues structure currently a 50%/50% based upon population and property valuation will change to the first 10% to be borne equally by each of the six member cities with the other 90% based upon a 75%/25% split between population and land valuation.
