<br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />SEPTEMBER 2, 2003 <br />Present: President of Council O'Grady, Council Members Dailey, Gareau, Kasler, <br />Limpert, McKay, Miller, Nashar <br />Also Present: Mayor Musial (arrived at 8:32 p.m.), Law Director Dubelko, Finance <br />Director Copfer, Clerk of Council Seman <br />President of Council O'Grady called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance as led by Eagle Scout Shaun Moizuk. <br />Councilman Miller moved to amend the agenda to add Ordinance 2003-120. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. <br />The minutes of the Council meeting of August 19, 2003 were approved as written. <br />President O'Grady announced that the following pieces of legislation would be passed <br />under suspension of the rules: Resolution 2003-124, Ordinances 2003-120, 2003-126. <br />SPECIAL LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 2003-124 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />McKay on behalf of the Mayor and entire Council. A resolution commending the <br />achievement by Shaun Franklin Kamis Moizuk of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy <br />Scouting. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2003-124 <br />adopted. President O'Grady invited Shaun to come forward, and the resolution was read <br />in its entirety. Shaun was congratulated by Council and members of the administration <br />and recognized by all present. President O'Grady invited Mr. & Mrs. Moizuk to come <br />forward, and they were recognized by all present. <br />REPORTS <br />Law Director Dubelko: 1) Following the last Council meeting, he spoke with resident <br />Don Pangrac regarding the issue he had raised about the possibility of increasing the <br />city's costs for services such as cutting high grass and weeds. Feeling that his answer to <br />Mr. Pangrac may have been too brief, he researched the issue further and consulted with <br />
