MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JANUARY 18, 2005 <br />Present: President of Council O'Grady, Council Members Dailey, Gareau, Limpert, <br />McKay, Miller, Nashar <br />Also Present: Mayor Musial (arrived at 8:12 p.m.), Law Director Dubelko, Finance <br />Director Copfer, Clerk of Council Seman <br />Absent: Council Member Kasler <br />President O'Grady called the meeting to order at 8 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5240 <br />Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance as led by Eagle Scouts Brian Boguski, Joseph Schoch and Tim Watson. <br />The minutes of the Council meeting of January 4, 2005 were approved as written. <br />President O'Grady announced the following legislation would be considered for passage <br />under suspension of the rules: first reading, Resolutions 2005-4, 2005-5, 2005-6 and <br />2005-8. <br />SPECIAL LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 2005-4 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Gareau <br />on behalf of the Mayor and all of Council. A resolution commending the achievement by <br />Brian Boguski of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. Councilman Gareau made a <br />motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Councilman Gareau <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 2005-4 adopted. President O'Grady invited Brian to come <br />forward, and the resolution was read in its entirety. Brian was congratulated by members <br />of Council and the administration and was recognized by all present. <br />Resolution No. 2005-5 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Nashar <br />on behalf of the Mayor and all of Council. A resolution commending the achievement by <br />Joseph Michael Schoch of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. Councilman Nashar <br />made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Nashar moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2005-5 adopted.
