CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 80-140 <br />BY: <br />MR . T~OEHP~R <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR TWO (2) NE[ni AUTOMOBILES FOR <br />THE NORTH OLMSTED BUS COMPANY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for two (2) new automobiles, which are <br />to be used by the North Olmsted Bus Company, the funds for which will <br />be paid out of the Bus Line Fund. Said automobiles shall conform to <br />the specifications now on file in the Office of the Director of Public <br />Service, and upon approval by the Board of Control the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason it is <br />immediately necessary to maintain scheduled bus service to area residents, <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : ~ /~ /~~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />b• <br />F RENCE E.
