i <br />4 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 80 - 131 <br />By; MR. MCKAY <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 373.05 OF THE <br />TRAFFIC CODE ENTITLED "LICENSE APPLICATION, <br />FEE AND TERM" OF CHAPTER 373 ENTITLED <br />"BICYCLES AND BICYCLE REGISTRATION", AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the Licensing Section <br />with respect to bicycles and has determined that the cost of <br />processing applications for bicycle licenses has increased, and <br />tNHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to update the <br />license and registration fees. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 373.05 of the Traffic Code entitled <br />"License Application, Fee and Terrn" of Chapter 373 entitled "Bicycles <br />and Bicycle Registration", which now reads: <br />"373.05 LICENSE APPLICATION, FE F. AND TERM. <br />Application for registration of a bicycle shall be made to <br />the Chief of Police upon forms provided by him. Such application <br />shall contain the name and address of the applicant, the name and <br />address of the owner's parents or guardian in the event the applicant <br />is a minor, the make, color and serial number or other identifying <br />marks of the bicycle and other inforration as the Chief of Police <br />shall deern pertinent. <br />Subsequent to the effective date of this chapter, all licenses <br />sold will be effective for three years and will cost one dollar and <br />twenty-five cents ($1.25). On January 1, 1965, all licenses issued <br />prior to the effective date of this chapter will expire and must be <br />replaced with the new three-year license." <br />be and the same is hereby amended and as amended shall read as follows: <br />373.05 LICENSE APPLICATION, FEE AND TERM. <br />(a) Application for registration of a bicycle shall be made <br />to the Chief of Police upon forrns provided by him. Such application <br />shall contain the name and address of the applicant, the name and <br />address of the owner's parents or guardian in the event the applicant <br />is a minor, the make, color and serial number or other identifying <br />marks of the bicycle and other information as the Chief of Police <br />shall deem pertinent. <br />(b) Effective January 1, 1981, the license fee shall be <br />two dollars ($2.00). All licenses issued prior to January 1, 1981, <br />shall continue to be in effect until its expiration. <br />SECTION 2: That Section 373.05 as previously adopted is <br />hereby repealed with the effective date of this ordinance, together <br />with any other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith. <br />
