PETRIGAC <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO INITIATE <br />AN APPLICATION FOR A MUNICIPAL WASTEWATER TREAT- <br />MENT WORKS CONSTRUCTION GRANT AMENDMENT TO PER- <br />FORM A SEWER SYSTEM EVALUATION SURVEY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has completed a Step 1 <br />Facility Plan for wastewater collection and treatment in the North <br />Olmsted Facility Planning Area, and <br />WHEREAS, it was determined that the collection system was <br />subject to possibly excessive infiltration and inflow according <br />to the cost-effectiveness analysis presented in the Facility Plan, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council at North Olmsted desires to <br />obtain a Federal grant to assist in performing a sewer system <br />evaluation survey to identify sources of excessive infiltration <br />and inflow. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council authorizes the Mayor to initiate <br />a grant amen ment application in cooperation with the State of Ohio's <br />Environmental Protection Agency for a sewer system evaluation survey. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in <br />force from an~c after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />L N E AMPBELL,~CL 0 COUNCIL <br />First reading: (, ~ <br />Second reading: L ~~ ~ <br />Third reading: <br />D E LIMPERT, P SID T OF <br />COUN <br />
