,~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 80- 37 <br />BY: <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATION AND <br />COMPOSITION OF THE NON-UNIFORM PERSONNEL OF THE <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT, TOGETHER WITH SALARIES AND <br />VARIOUS BENEFITS FOR SAID EMPLOYEES, AND DECLAR- <br />ING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a complement <br />for non-uniform police personnel, together with certain various benefits <br />covering said employees, apart from the Organizational Chart established <br />for the uniform police personnel. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: The Organizational Chart for the non-uniform police de- <br />partment personnel of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: <br />(a) There shall be one (1) secretary, four (4) clerks, thirty <br />(30) auxiliary police, four (4) dispatchers, one of which <br />shall be designated senior dispatcher, eighteen (18) <br />school guards and one (1) police matron part-time. <br />SECTION 2: That the Council does hereby establish salaries for the <br />various employees specified in Section 1 hereof, from and after retroactively <br />January 1, 1980, which salaries shall be as follows: <br />(a) Secretary <br />The secretary shall be compensated in accordance with the <br />Ordinance establishing pay ranges for secretaries in the <br />Administrative Chart of the City of North Olmsted. <br />(b) Clerk <br />Clerks shall be compensated in accordance with the Ordi- <br />nance establishing pay ranges for clerks in the Adminis- <br />trative Chart of the City of North Olmsted. <br />(c) School Guards .................$3.10 Per Hour <br />(d) Auxiliary Police ..............$2.75 Per Hour to $3.25 Per Hour <br />(e) Police Matron .................$2.75 Per Hour to $3.25 Per Hour <br />(f) Dispatchers (Part-Time).......$3.75 Per Hour <br />(g) Dispatchers (Full Time).......$6,890.00 to $9,500.00 Annually <br />(h) Senior Dis atcher (Full Time).$7,090.00 to $9,700.00 Annually <br />SECTION 3: That all full time non-uniform police personnel, having <br />completed ive 5) years of full time continuous service as employees of <br />said department shall be paid an additional four percent (4%) of their base <br />annual salary; thereafter until completion of the tenth (10th) year of full <br />time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive five per- <br />cent (5%) of their base annual salary; thereafter until the completion of <br />
