? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RE50LUTION NO. 2001-139 <br />BY: MAYOR MUSIAL <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR A MA?XMUM OF 35,000 GALLONS OF <br />SODIUM ALUMINATE FOR YEAR 2002 FOR USE BY TBE WASTEWATER <br />TREATMENT PLANT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AS AMENDED. <br />NOW, T'HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TBE COUNCIL OF TBE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for a maximum of 35,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for year 2002 <br />for use by the Wastewater Treatmerrt Plant , in accordance with specifications now on file <br />in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and <br />for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for the city's sodium <br />aluminate requirements and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of twatturds <br />of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the mayor. <br />PASSED: jLoo? <br />AT7EST: 7 <br />-?--Y- <br />f <br />RA L.
