CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001 - 26 <br />BY: Mayor Norman T. Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR REPAIR OF THE HVAC <br />SYSTEM IN THE LOBBY AREA AT THE NORTH OLMSTED <br />RECREATION CENTER IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AS <br />DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FII.E AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of repair of the HVAC <br />System in the lobby area at the North Olmsted Recreation Center in the City, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for repair of the HVAC System in the lobby area at the North Olmsted <br />Recreation Center according to specifications now on file in his office and that, upon approval by <br />the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract and execute same <br />on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION Z: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirinative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
