CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO.97-15 <br />BY: Mayor Ed Boyle <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIItECTING THE MAYOR OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH <br />POLYTECH INC., TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR TWO <br />STRUCTURAL STEEL PLATFORMS AT THE NORTH OLMSTED <br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the engineering firm of <br />Polytech Inc., be hired to accomplish the aforesaid services due to their expertise in this <br />field; and <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, this Council does hereby express <br />its desire to have the Mayor enter into a contract with said firm for and on behalf of the <br />City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br />an Agreement with Polytech Inc., to provide engineering services for two structural steel <br />platforms at the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Plant. A copy of said Agreement <br />is attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for <br />the further reason that it is immediately necessary to proceed with the engineering services <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />
