?.;. <br />? ,• <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 5 <br />BY• Mayor Musial <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR PAINT 5TRI@ING AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE <br />AND AUTHORiZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted is desirous of paint striping of <br />streets at various locations in the City, and <br />WHEREA5, the County Engineer has ceased to provide this service, and <br />WHEREAS, the necessary specifications, as prepared under the direction of the <br />Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />Agreement to construct said improvement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for paint striping of streets according to specifications now on file in his office <br />and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />Contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor <br />PASSED:??? ? 3? d <br />A ST: <br />z-- <br />Barbara L.
