CITY OF NORTH OLMSiED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90-176 <br />BY: Councilnan Tallon <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUELIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR DIESEL F[JEL AND GASOLINE PRODUCTS FOR <br />USE BY TKE CITY OF NORTH OLNiSTED SERVICE DEPAR'IMIlVT, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE Ty1AY0R TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGh'NCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF 'IIHE CI1Y OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SEClION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for various fuels and gasoline products <br />for the City of North Olmsted Service Department needs, that the Service <br />Director had previously advertised for bids and none were submitted, that <br />he be perr,iitted to advertise only once. <br />SECTION Z: If there are no bids subnLitted by re-advertising, or bids <br />submitted that are not acceptable to the Board of Control, that the Service <br />Director be allowed to purchase fuel on the open market as needed, at the <br />lotaest possible price. <br />SECTION 3: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure irrnnediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and for tne further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to provide for the City's fuel and gasoline requirements, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />irunediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: r ,, . ; , ; , . <br />ATIEST: <br />BARBARA L.
