AS ArIFNDID <br />WHF'RFAS, this administration, with the assistance of the <br />Engineering Department, has proposed a revised Chapter dealing with <br />cemeteries which revisions are necessitated due to the passage of time; <br />and <br />WHFRF.AS, Council believes it is in the best interest of the City <br />to adopt a revised Chapter 943. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF 'IHE CITY OF NORTH <br />0124STED, COUNl'Y OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That there is hereby established a new and revised <br />Chapter 943 entitled "Cemeteries", which new and revised Chapter shall <br />read as follows: <br />CKAPTER 943 <br />Cemeteries <br />943.01 F[IRTHM CEMETERrES pgpHIBITID. <br />(a) No cemeteries shall be established in the City, except the <br />two Municipal cemeteries heretofore established and except the cemetery <br />on a certain pa.rcel of land heretofore established by the Sunset <br />Memorial Park Association and further described as follows: <br />Situated in the City of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga and <br />State of Ohio, and known as being a part of Original Lot 27, Tract 6, <br />Olmsted Township and further described as follows: <br />Beginnirg at the southeasterly corner of land conveyed to Henry <br />F. Schinke by deed recorded in Volume 1991, page 53 of Cuyahoga County <br />Recorcls of Deeds; thence southerly along the easterly line of Lot 27, <br />630 feet more or less to the southeasterly corner of said Lot 27; thence <br />westerly along said Lot 27 being the City of North Olmsted southerly <br />corporation line to a point in the easterly line of Columbia Road, sixty <br />feet wide; thence northerly along the easterly line of said Columbia <br />Road to the northwesterly corner of hereinbefore mentioned land conveyed <br />to Henry F. Schinke; thence easterly along the northerly line of said <br />Schinke land to the easterly line of said Lot 27 being the City of Tlorth <br />0]risted easterly corporation line; thence southerly along the easterly <br />line of said Lot 27 to the southeasterly corner of hereinbefore <br />mentioned land conveyed to Henry F. Schinke and the place of beginning, <br />be the same, More or less, but subject to a11 legal highways; and <br />further described as the parcels of land bearirg the Permanent Parcel <br />236-24-17 and 236-24-18 as of January 1, 1991.
